Much of CSIA's focus is developing and presenting quality programs for our membership, then creating strong business networks for you and your company. Our programs and events target CEOs, CIOs and other corporate decision makers and technology business leaders, providing perspective with business issues and opportunities.

This year, we have expanded our programs and events, incorporating topics and speakers that provide insight into the Colorado business environment. In the past, our programs have entailed monthly learning opportunities and new member luncheons, and our three major annual events - C-Level @ A Mile High, Apex Awards and DEMOgala. In 2007 alone, 3000 members and guests attended programs and events featuring more than 190 speakers and presenters.

2008 welcomes in an entirely different format for CSIA programs and events. To augment our normal schedule, we've added numerous member only programs as well as CEO and CIO targeted ones.

Let's break them down a bit.

  • The CEO/CIO Forum is a physical meeting of technology C-level executives alternating monthly. This is an opportunity for local executives to discuss current industry topics, ponder trends and debate issues. To keep the conversations going from month-to-month, we've added an online forum, available only to CEOs, CTOs and CIOs.
  • Lunch n' Learns are typically bimonthly refresher courses on a multitude of technology business topics, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, identify theft, intellectual property, technology risk assessment, and security, from local industry experts.
  • Inspirational Leaders Series, normally monthly, allows you to explore first hand the inner workings of Colorado’s leading technology companies. Unlike a typical corporate tour, you will walk with these companies’ visionary CEOs and CIOs to explore their methods and experiences.
  • Member Networking is a periodic opportunity for CSIA members to get together in a social setting to mingle and converse every other month.
  • Women in Technology is a bimonthly, informal gathering of women from the technology sector for camaraderie and information exchange.

Unlike any year before, CSIA has filled the upcoming year with an incredible variety of personal development and networking opportunities for our member companies and their employees. Check the right column of our eNewsletters or our web calendar frequently for upcoming events and programs.

If you would like to participate in any of our programs, please contact Nikki Mill, 303.592.4069, for more information.

Governor Ritter speaks to more than 600 attendees at the CSIA DEMOgala 07
breakfast.  CSIA was honored to have Governor Ritter
kick off our 3rd annual DEMOgala along with noted venture capitalist Brad Feld.
Governor Ritter announced the formation of the
Innovation Council; CSIA
President Su Hawk is honored to be on the Executive Committee
of Governor Ritter's Innovation Council.
