CSIA focuses on providing our members with opportunities to connect and build business relationships with Colorado C-level executives, government and industry leaders.  This closed community, accessible to CSIA members only, facilitates communication and education within the CSIA member community through the following features:

  • CEO Forum: As an online extension of the CEO Forum, this CEO forum, available to CEOs, provides an opportunity for executives to continue their conversations between the physical meetings. CEOs of member companies are welcome and invited to participate in the online CEO Forum.  Please contact Nikki Mill, CSIA's Membership Coordinator, for more information.
  • CIO Forum: Similar to the CEO Forum, this online CIO Forum, available to CIOs, CTOs and VPs of IT, provides an opportunity for technology executives to continue their conversations between the physical meetings. To participate in the online CIO Forum, contact Nikki Mill.  Our summer program will be held July 29, 2008 at the Governor's Mansion.  For more details, please contact CSIA or call us at 303.592.4070.
  • Peer-to-peer Forums: Based on your corporate roles, the Peer-to-peer Forums provide our member company employees with a place to discuss issues and concerns faced by the technical workforce. (Stay tuned for more information about the peer-to-peer forum release.)

                       Valuation Primer for Business Owners
Join this discussion on providing business owners and executives with a fundamental understanding of the principles underlying the valuation of their businesses, and ownership interests in them.  Topics will include various standards of value, and common methodologies and their application.  We will also discuss value enhancement and diminution factors, and how those factors might be strategically employed when selling a business, or for estate and gift tax planning and reporting.  Questions from participants relating to their specific circumstances will be encouraged.
